Alexa started summer camp this week. Her first day was a success and she seemed to really enjoy herself. She was so proud of her pictures. When I picked her up she didn’t want to leave. Peter drops her off and she runs to the books to read before playing. I pick her up and she’s still waiting for a story to be over. She does play though…I promise! She just like to end-cap her days with a book.
The second day wasn’t as easy. She didn’t want to go back. She didn’t understand why she had to do it again. She ALREADY DID THAT. Little miss doesn’t like to repeat things! There haven’t been any fights though, and every day she gets ready to go with ease. She just doesn’t get why it keeps happening. It’s cute. Kids are so funny in their quirks.
We’re so excited to see how different she is at the end of these 6 weeks!

So cute! Her hair is so long and beautiful!
It’s getting soooooooo long. This picture you can really see it. She even lets me put it up these days
I think it may need a trim soon, I’m scared. Her last hair cut was over a year ago and the lady made a mess of it.
Her little Pumas! <3
Hope she has a great time at camp.
RIGHT? I love little kids in “real” sneakers
Alexa has grown so much! I’m watching her experience at camp carefully. Eventually Isobel will start preschool and I will be in your shoes.
I can’t wait to see how different Alexa seems after 6 weeks with other kids every day! She wants friends so badly, I hope she makes some good ones.
Aww, that’s so sweet. How long is summer camp for? Hope she has fun this week.
It’s 6 weeks! A long time
It’s really only 3.5 hours a day so she’s home before lunch. I’m so thrilled that we were able to send her somewhere fun this summer since I’m still exhausted with her new baby sister.
